Algemene informatie
De MS onderzoeksdagen van dit jaar vinden plaats op maandag 19 juni en dinsdag 20 juni in Amsterdam. De bijeenkomst richt zich op het hele spectrum van het MS-onderzoek, variërend van fundamenteel tot translationeel en klinisch onderzoek. Samen met de Nederlandse Hersenbank gaan we voor een interessant, leerzaam programma zorgen met voldoende tijd om te netwerken. DE deadline voor het indienen van abstracts was dinsdag 25 april.

Keynote lectures
Deze drie, excellente onderzoekers geven een keynote lezing tijdens de onderzoeksdagen:
- Prof. Gonçalo Castelo-Branco (Karolinska Institute, Sweden) – ‘Spatial and temporal dynamics of multiple sclerosis disease development and progression‘
- Dr. Max Kaufmann (University of Hamburg, Germany) – ‘Understanding progressive multiple sclerosis with single cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics: A data science perspective on pathogenesis‘
- Dr. Niamh McNamara (University of Edinburgh, UK) – ‘Microglia regulate central nervous system myelin growth and integrity’
Avondlezing
De avondlezing vindt plaats op maandag 19 juni.
- Prof. Dick Swaab (Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, Amsterdam) – ‘Sexual differentiation of our brains: a basis for vulnerability for neuropsychiatric disorders’
