MSIF Research Awards – Applications now open

The MS International Federation, a unique global network of MS organisations, is funding research awards in the form of two-year fellowships (McDonald) and 3-6 month (Du Pré) travel grants, which are aimed exclusively at clinicians and researchers who work in and are from low- and middle-income countries, as as defined by the World Bank). Applicants will have at least post-graduate experience in MS.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are open to applications for virtual learning and mentorship experiences, or for relocation within the same country or world region.

McDonald Fellowship:

  • Two-year grant
  • £30,000 GBP per year, to cover travel and living costs
  • £2,000 GBP for the host institution, for lab expenses

Du Pré Grants:

  • Up to £6,000 GBP to cover travel and living costs
  • Visits last between two and six months
